## 1. Why We Publish This Disclosure

FMSA may display referral links, recommendations, or partnerships for third-party products and services that complement your legal self-exclusion. Some of these arrangements involve a financial commission payable to FMSA. Others are entirely free with no financial arrangement.

This disclosure ensures you understand exactly what FMSA receives (if anything) before you click any referral link or act on any recommendation. Your decision to use or not use any third-party product has no effect on your self-exclusion application or FMSA's service to you.

## 2. Gamban - Paid Digital Blocking Software

### 2.1 What Gamban Is

Gamban is a cross-platform gambling-blocking software application produced by Gamban Ltd. It blocks access to thousands of gambling websites and apps across all major devices and operating systems. Gamban is a paid, subscription-based product purchased directly from Gamban.

### 2.2 The Commercial Arrangement

FMSA and Gamban Ltd entered into a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in October 2026. Under this MOU:

- FMSA displays Gamban's product within the SE App and recommends it as a digital blocking tool to complement legal self-exclusion;
- FMSA receives a commission of **25% of the net subscription revenue** generated from users who access Gamban through FMSA's unique referral link;
- The referral link is: **https://excludenow.com/freemesouthafrica**

**What this means for you:** If you purchase a Gamban subscription through FMSA's referral link, FMSA will receive a commission from Gamban. The price you pay to Gamban is the same regardless of whether you use FMSA's referral link or access Gamban directly. The commission is paid by Gamban, not by you.

### 2.3 FMSA's Position

FMSA recommends Gamban because it is a reputable, well-established digital blocking tool that adds a meaningful layer of protection on top of legal self-exclusion. FMSA's recommendation existed before the commercial arrangement was formalised and is based on the product's merit.

The existence of a commercial arrangement does not change the nature of FMSA's recommendation, but you are entitled to know about it. FMSA discloses this commission in full compliance with its legal and ethical obligations.

### 2.4 Gamban Subscription: Your Choice

Purchasing Gamban is entirely your personal decision. It is:
- A paid product purchased directly from Gamban Ltd;
- Not part of FMSA's self-exclusion service;
- Not required for your legal SE to be processed or effective;
- Subject to Gamban Ltd's own terms, conditions, and pricing.

## 3. BetBlocker - Free Digital Blocking Tool

### 3.1 What BetBlocker Is

BetBlocker is a free, cross-platform gambling-blocking application available at betblocker.org. It is available for all major devices and operating systems at no cost to the user.

### 3.2 The Commercial Arrangement

FMSA and BetBlocker have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) formalised in September 2026. This is a mutual support arrangement with **no commission or financial payment of any kind to either party.**

FMSA recommends BetBlocker and BetBlocker recognises FMSA as a responsible gambling support organisation. There is no revenue, referral fee, or commercial benefit flowing to FMSA from any BetBlocker referral or recommendation.

### 3.3 Why FMSA Recommends BetBlocker

BetBlocker is recommended because it is free, well-regarded in the responsible gambling sector, and accessible to users across all platforms at no cost. It is particularly relevant for users who wish to implement digital blocking alongside their legal self-exclusion without incurring any expense.
